Atlanta Journal-Constitution readers respond to that paper's defense of its 24/7/365 coverage of Augusta. The gist, as indicated by the paper's (praiseworthy) headline: INSIDE THE AJC: Enough's enough, agree readers on Augusta
"What a nice [but futile] attempt to negate the idea that the AJC is attempting to wage a 'campaign' on the issue of admitting women members to Augusta National. The term 'campaign' is defined as a connected series of operations designed to bring about a particular result. Is that not what the blatant one-sided articles published in your paper attempt to do?" asks Marion Ridenhour of Senoia.
"I'm just curious as to why it is so important that one rich, arrogant, egotistical white woman be allowed to socialize with a bunch of rich, arrogant, egotistical men? Sorry, but the importance of this just eludes me," says Lewis Raines of Evans, Ga.
