The runup to next week's release of the Title IX Commission's recommendations has started, with a love letter from Sally Jenkins in Sports and Jennifer Frey writing about the National Women Law Center's Marcia Greenberger in Style. I will blog them this weekend, but not until after I hit the driving range. If my driving range were run the way Title IX is enforced, I'd probably never get a chance to practice because easily 90% of the people crazy enough to hit little white balls on a 30-degree day are men. Though men choose to come and women do not, Title IX lawyers would declare this a blatant example of discrimination. If the range couldn't find enough women to balance things out, they'd allow the women to stay and throw out most of the guys. Equality!
